San Blas Bay

If you plan to visit, it's worth mentioning that the beach is only reachable on foot. The hill to the beach is quite steep, so good shoes and a bottle of water are a must.
Parking during the high season may be difficult due to the small parking area for up to 10 cars, so reaching early is the best choice if you plan to get to San Blas Bay by car.
Ninu's Cave & Xerri's Grotto
If you plan to visit the Ggantija Temples, visiting the nearby Ninu's Cave is a must. This underground wonder in coralline limestone, natural stalactite and stalagmite formations was discovered by Joseph Rapa, a resident of Xaghra, in 1888. This unique site is a short 10-minute walk from the temples.
A significant fact is that this cave is found in a private residence in No17, January Street, Xaghra, and a tour by a family member will be given from 1 pm to 5 pm weekly. You'll enter the cave through 4-meter stairs, which will take you into a 20-meter by 8-meter large chamber.
While at Ninu's Cave, a 5-minute walk away, you can find Xerri's Grotto, another hidden gem. It was discovered by Anthony Xerri in 1923; while digging a well to find water, he discovered the grotto.
Dug entirely by hand with the help of his sons, Xerri's Grotto boasts a narrow spiral staircase of 30 steps leading to its grotto. Like Ninu's Cave, this hidden treasure lies beneath a typical home in the streets of Xaghra. During the Second World War, the Xerri family used the cave as an air raid shelter.
Ta’ Kola Windmill
The Ta' Kola Windmill in Xaghra, standing for 200 years, is a great relic from the Knights period and one of the few remaining windmills on the Islands of Malta.
This historic windmill serves as a testament to the daily challenges of residents, who depended on it to grind their cereals into flour. The miller would signal the readiness of the flour by blowing through a triton shell, a mark of the village's regular way of life.
Central to village reality, the windmill supplied locals with flour, the most essential food back then. Despite Xaghra's small and quiet atmosphere, it has multiple attractions, like this Windmill and the following.
Ta' Gurdan Lighthouse

Instead, travellers can utilise the X133 free shuttle service from the main bus station in Valletta, conveniently dropping off passengers near the fast ferry terminal at the Grand Harbour.

Upon arrival, all ferries arrive at the Mgarr Harbour Gozo Ferry Terminal. Upon arrival, you can find various transportation services such as buses, rental cars, taxis, and ride-sharing via apps.
Public transportation in Gozo is like Malta, with the bus's main terminus in Gozo located in Victoria's capital city. Here, you can find the main bus station with 15 bus routes crossing to all the island's towns and villages.
To reach Victoria from the Mgarr Harbour ferry terminal, you can take either bus number 301 or 323. These buses run hourly in each direction, maintaining the same weekly schedule regardless of the season.
